X'mas Gatherings

Merry Christmas everybody!!! My house new little Red Hot Christmas Tree..... happy to get a new one this year. Mum and Zhenyi got this from Seremban Parade. Cost around RM10-20 only!!

This year Xmas I went to my uncle's new house in Setia Eco-Park (Shah Alam) for his house warming. There I met with my all my cousins that are scattered all around the world, from USA, UK, Australia, China, Holland, and even Indonesia as well. My family structure pretty cool (and complicated) rite?

With my (grown-up) cousins. Me at the back. The smilling kiddos (from left) are Carmen, of Dutch and Chinese heritage, David and Jonathan (Jon Jon) with their parents (Lim and Mei - working in Indonesia). Nowadays kids are super strong!! Something wrong with the milk powder formula that they eat!! These kiddos can drag me like a toy from kitchen to living room without sweat!! Scary right??!! But its really fun to play with them. They will just keep on shouting "Uncle Small Fish, do you have any games?" "Uncle Small Fish, can we play another game?" "Uncle Small Fish, can we play again, can we, can we, can we???". Ain't they cute or what?

(They called me Uncle Small Fish because my Chinese name sounds like a fish, and yes, my brother is Big Fish and therefore I'm Small Fish).

My distance cousins. Really the bau-bau bacang related cousins. With Zhenyi (in maroon shirt), Alyson and Justin from Australia. Also Ted, from China. They are really funny and animated!!

Another shot. Need to include Terence in the photo hehe. He's all the way from USA. We all cousins only have chance to meet up during Xmas or Chinese New Year in Malaysia.

This is the Year 2007's Family Most Favourite Baby, LeAnne. She's 100 times more CUTE and adorable in reality. ALso really friendly to anyone!!! She's my cousin's daughter (from UK). We all will miss her so much. She also have a blog of herself by the way (a baby blogger???). Check out my associate bloggers section!!

End of the post.
More updates to come.
Stay Tuned!!

2nd Time in Zouk

Intially, we planned to go to Maison for the night. But when we reach there, it was really packed with people. So we become kiasu and switch to Zouk... hehe... since it is nearby and it's been a while since we club there. It was Thursday night and I was out with Jessie, Wai Theng, Sony, Jenny, Ah Mao and Zhi Wei. Jessie also called some of his guy pals to hang out.

Our drink, Johnie Walker Black Label. Zouk have not changed much since the last time I came (about 2 years ago). We could not get a table, but managed to get a nice spot along the counter. There was a guy (a big guy dressed in white) next to our place. We noticed that he was watching us and the gals feel like he's a mah lat lou. After a few sips of drinks, he approached me and we chatted a little. In the end, he passed me a card and said, "Call Me." (sounds weird right?) When I check the card, only know that he's a Zouk ambassador (not some weirdo trying to..... you know lah... *sweat*). Zouk should hire pretty girls to be their ambassador!!

Picture (from left): Jessie, myself, Jenny, Sony, Ah Mao and Zhi Wei.

The UV light and White effect. If we know we are hitting Zouk, we could have dressed up in white. The 'White Sparks' among us is Jenny. She was so smart to wear that dress!!

(Wai Theng on counter!!)

We enjoy Zouk (on Thursday) as they play R&B and Hip Hop music. The only drawback of that place is that there are more Malays and Non Chinese there, plus many ah guas as well.

The guys (picture on down right): Edward, myself, Eugene, Eugene, and Kenny.

Yeap, there were 2 Eugene(s) with us that night. They are all from APIIT. Jessie's friends. Crazy fellas. Look at the first picture on the left. I did not notice that Edward was right behind when taking pictures. He must be really dehydrated!! (he's gulping some other table's beer by the way!! *sweat*)

This is my first clubbing after back from UK. Cheers to my clubbing kakis...!!

BLAST from the Past!!

I thought today was just another normal day for me. I went to church, sent off my brother back to KL, and went to Jusco twice (first time with Ronald, and 2 hours later with my cousins). Pretty boring hoh? The only thing that made my day wonderful is that I managed to buy a few things that I wanted for long. Don't want to bore you further with what I have bought lah...

So, a Blast from the Past??!! It happened like this.

I was so happy to see Chui San popped online in my MSN Messenger.
It's been ages since I see her online and chat with her. So far only managed to see how she's doing through her blog. If you have time and need some elements to laugh out, please go to Chui San's blogs (in my Associate Bloggers link). It's crappy (good craps in fact), funny and I must say, it's down to earth and impressive as well *whistle*. Chui San, if you are reading this, kindly feedback to me lah (DUH).

While chatting with Chui San, we discussed about how stupid that we could not meet up in UK while I was there for my summer degree programme and San San being there for her pharmacy studies. Really a waste and a slipped chance for not being able to meet up in UK!! Actually it was kinda hard for us to meet face to face as I was in UK from June to mid October 2007 whereas San San only reached UK around end of September or early October... rite? Somemore she was in Nottingham and I was in Sheffield (later on I went to London and Manchester for vacation before returning to Malaysia). Therefore it is indeed hard for us to arrange a meet up lah.

(so boring lah, where's the Blast from The Past story??????)

Ok Ok, here comes the main topic. I asked Chui San whether she's still in contact with Sheter, a Hong Kong friend that we know during a student exchange programme in Korea during summer 2001. Then she said, 'Hah, no woh, din contact her for so long already la'. Then I was upset, because I remembered I told her through Friendster msg that Sheter is in UK for studies. I continued to nag her that she's so busy with her UK life and her blogs. She then complained about her stupid essay works that she have to rush and also the cheap and slow internet connection. So I finally said, "Hey, you know what, Sheter is online now in MSN, I send you her MSN contact la". Sheter was indeed online in MSN and Chui San asked me to connect her into our conservation window. And then, we had a simple and great 'reunion' in MSN chats.

Here are some parts of our conversation history logs between me, Sheter and Chui San.

Leyi : hahaa... anyway... hav you contact with Sheter?
San : i din keep in touch with her for a long time already
Leyi : she's online now by the way...!!
San : ohoh add her into the conversation

(then Sheter enter into our conversation)

San : hello!!! do u or do u not remember me?
Sheter : aee??? why do u add me again (she's still blur why I add her into other conversation window)
Leyi : Hey there Sheter... still remember Sanny??!!
Sheter : EHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SANNY!!! of course i remember you!! how can i forget!
Sheter : how are you :D.. let me add you to my list ! you have been disappeared
Leyi : San San... you there??
Sheter : seems she's out
San : oh hi hi... sorry.... I AM HEREEEEE
San : sorry... was discussing about my stupid essay with a friend T.T
Sheter : dun hide
San : babe!! how are u! i am so happy to be able to talk to u again

(somewhere in the middle of conversation.....)

Leyi : Sanny is in Nottingham....
Sheter : WHAT? you(San) are in nottingham???
San : YEA... me in nottingham!
Sheter : ME TOO!!!!
San: u r in nottingham!??
Sheter: how can i not knew that!
San : not in london meh? (asking Sheter)
Leyi : both IN NOttingHam???
San : ARE U SERIOUS?
Sheter : i go to nottingham trent! (Sheter studies there)
San : leyi! u told me she is in london!
Leyi : YOU BOTH really some practical jokes....
San : trent! that's alright, not that far
Sheter : i was in london for the summer :D
San : aiyuyu... this leyi ah... beat u
Leyi : I think I got it wrong... SORRY... SORRY...
Sheter : o my god!! we have to meet !! :D

(and the 'reunion' continues...)

If this conversation happened in a real face-to-face, real time real place meeting, we would have shout out loud like kena lottery or jackpot and embraced each other like never before. This is what I thought as a BLAST from the Past. We have not chat with each other for like 6 years since 2001. It's really great to get back to each other again. Now this is what I call a not so normal and less ordinary day of my life... *smile*

Featured in World Wide Web

Hey there guys... just wana share some good news (happened in the past though) with everybody. I was actually featured in my TAR College quarterly bulletin, with photo somemore. Please click over the link for the online version of the news (so 'syok' with such little online fame, muka tembok lah)

For keep sake purpose, I have kept a few hard copies of this issue bulletin. Actually there was another time where I was featured in my College Bulletin, but during that time (much earlier than the online version posted), TARC have not set up their online bullentin board yet. So can't get any online version to be posted. Geramnya, if not can show off more here... :P
Anyway, just wana fill up something for the blog.
Not impressive at all rite?
Feel free to drop me a comment or some message in my blogs.
Anyway, thanks for reading through...!!

Bagan Lalang & Sepang Golden Coast

Today I went to Bagan Lalang, near Sepang town, with my cousins.

It was a good local day trip.

We bought RM160++ of fresh fishies from the sea market (it's well known for its fresh sea product and not too expensive prices, and we were buying for a few families lah... we are not as 'luxurious' as you think :P)

We also have a stroll along the Bagan Lalang beach to catch some scenic moments and sunset time before heading for Ikan Bakar dinner.

Beside our the Ikan Bakar restaurant, we passed by a developing area. It still filled with construction workers and those pembinaan stuffs. What captured my attention was the billboard of the construction site. This place in future will be called Sepang Golden Roast. Check out the following pictures. This is what will be like in Bagan Lalang beach, probably in a few years time (if the construction speed is good, if not probably would take longer than our 'fingers' years, got the idea?)

The idea is to build a stretch of resorts that form the shape of a Palm Tree. I pretty like the night view of the concept. Do google this place if you wana find out more...!! (please click on the picture to have a clearer look)

After feasting a yummy Ikan Bakar dinner (with otak-otak, sate, coconut drinks), I head back home with a wish to own one of the units in the resort in future.

*Disclaimer : Sepang Gold Coast is not responsible in compensating the blog author in any form of direct and indirect promotion work carried out... therefore, please read with caution loh....*

First Entry - Luna Bar

Hey there everybody...!!
This is not the first time I post a blog (my first blog being in the Friendster blog). Now I'm currently wanna create another new blog post. Something more official and personal.

Suddenly wanna change... haha that's how humans behave rite??
So here it goes, my first blog, to raise the curtain, would like to post something that I like.

Have you been to Luna Bar? Heard of it?
It's in Malaysia by the way, no need to fly over to other country to look for it :P

Like the view? This photo is taken from Luna Bar. Yeap, it's open air and also include a indoor pub area as well. Luna Bar is situated at the top of a building called Pan Globe Tower if not mistaken. In day time Luna Bar is a swimming pool and leisure grounds and at night, it became a PUB. Pretty cool eh?

Another nice view. A bit different from the previous one. Can see the Petronas Twin Tower from there.

On the other side (which I don't have a good pic) can see the KL Tower. Pretty nice spot leh. Great environment for impressing women and chilling out with buddies.

Enjoying a glass of drink in Luna Bar. I like the settings and ambience there.
Thanks to my bro (Zhenyi), I do look different in this shot. Looks like a professional enjoy his high scale of entertainment in a private club (syok sendiri pulak :P)

ANother pose. Not as good as the previous one (trying to act extra cool now and being photo addicted).

(My brother: Oiks, try to be more creative lah... dun be so vain la... people are looking now...)

I have not been to Luna Bar for quite long after my practical training period with PwC Malaysia. Hope can go there again when I'm starting to work, but sure need to prepare some cash to spend there. It's pricey to be luxurious weh...Thanks to Zhenyi, for bringing me there.... *smile*
