My pencil case, anyone?

One fine day, while looking around for a b-day present for my cousin niece, I saw this pencil case.

ROY Star? Rock Star? not bad lol
And when I turn it around (more like, when mum took it and turn it around)

My name is tagged on it! Ain't it cool or what?

So, anybody wants a Leyi's pencil case?

UPDATE: This pencil case is actually sold as it is with 'LEYI' brand at supermarket! They are still available now and in various designs too. Hmm perhaps I should seek trademark rights and demand for royalties??

Randomness #2

"Eh, do you think it will rain during our PBIM run?"

"Ermm, yeah woh... now it's raining season hoh. But fear not! Since PBIM is a grand event in Malaysia, I'm sure they will hire bomoh hujan to 'ensure' no rain that day!"

"Ohh, you sure or not? Effective ah?"

"Yeah yeah, quite effective! You remember our high school English tuition teacher, Mrs. M? She mentioned her school hired bomoh hujan to make sure the annual Sports Day is sunny and clear. She some more said very expensive and cannot witness the process, but it's damn effective!"

"Ahhh I see I see. Let's hope PBIM organiser will do that."

So, 30 days later, during the PBIM run day, it rained heavily starting 3am in the morning...

Conclusion: It's either no bomoh hujan was hired, or the spells did not work.

500 Days of Summer

(note: Ju shared her review on this movie earlier. I read her review and went to watch this movie.)

"This is not a love story. It is a story about love."

"There's no such thing as love. It's a fantasy."
"Well, I think you're wrong."
"Okay, well... what is it that I'm missing then?"
"I think you know it when you feel it."

"I guess we can just agree to disagree."
"Yeah."

"Have I seen you before?"
"Me? I don't think so."
"Do you ever go to Angelus Plaza?"
"Yes! That's like my favourite spot in the city."
"I think I've seen you there."
"Really?"
"You must not have been looking."

One of the 'gook' movie I had so far.
But I still wonder... is it possible for someone to wake up one day and feel differently about another?

Diving @ Sipadan

(Note: Long overdue post. Blame the work and frequent travels I had since the Sipadan trip in Dec'09)

When I was a little kid, I always enjoyed watching National Geographic program, especially when they are showing the sea life series. I'm always fascinated with the various fishes under the big blue seas, the vibrantly colourful corals, the magnificient underwater scenes, and of course, seeing SCUBA divers interacting with the sea creatures, such as turtles, dolphins, whales, and sharks.

Now, after going through 2 levels of diving courses, I'm finally able to fulfill another item in my wish list. Yes, diving in Sipadan has been one of my wishes since I was a kid (more like since I know the existence of Sipadan island, probably since high school I think lol).

It took us a few months to plan for this dive trip (credits to Zhenyi actually, I only joined the planning part when it's time to pay lol). Good budget trip needs good planning ^^

So, on 17 Dec, Zhenyi and I flew to Tawau and was transported to Semporna to board the boat transfer to Seaventures Dive Resort. If you follow the link, you will noticed that the SDR used to be a sea dig rig, being refurbished into a dive resort. Ain't it cool or what? I find it's really unique and one of a kind, as the resort is just 20 minutes away from Sipadan Island, and 1 km away from Mabul and Kapalai. The dive resort is one of the nearest to Sipadan Island, so we will never be far behind to other divers in getting to Sipadan as early birds lol.

Diving at Sipadan, being vibrant with various sea lifes, there're still several 'must see' agendas, such as schools of Bumphead Parrotfishes, Barracudas vortex, sharks, turtles, etc.

I shall let the photos do the talking.

Barracudas - close up shot

The vortex!

Swimming with the Barracudas!

Bumphead Parrot Fishies!

Bumphead happy family

Orang Utan Crab in bubble corals

Colourful Angel Fish

Morale Eel in a toilet bowl!

The common clown fishes a.k.a. Nemo fishies

Bubble Coral Shrimp

Underwater potrait

Green turtle - tonnes of them in Sipadan

Swim racing with the turtle lol

Chilling out under the sea

Another big green turtle

Overall, the trip was simply fantastic. Definitely one of the 'fine diving' experience ^^

Randomness #1

I have been styling my hair short since I started college. Before that I did not even bother to do anything about it.

However, recently it has attracted some unexpected attentions. Read on to find out more.

__________________________________________________________________

Recently, a company colleague said this to me right before the lunch hours start.

Colleague: "Wah, your hair ah, it grows upward and never come down one ah?"

Me: "Errr, no ah... I got use hair product to style it. But even without it, my hair most of them will stand out haha, just that it's messier..."

Colleague: "Ohhhhh wah like that also can."

__________________________________________________________________

During the recent company annual dinner, another colleague came by.

Colleague: "Wow you looked great! Which saloon you go to have them set your hair?"

Myself: "Oh thank you! Err I just had it cut short yesterday and I style myself at home just now hahaha"

Colleague: "Oh wow, cool! What hair styling products you used?"

Myself: "Oh, I used L'Oreal and Gatsby products, both of them together!"

__________________________________________________________________

And few months ago, one ex-colleague randomly asked me.

Ex-colleague: "Eh, how long you spent on styling your hair?"

Me: "Errr.... *caught by surprise* like 3-5 minutes the most loh... hahaha"

Ex-colleague: "Ohhh really? *a hint of disbelief* What hair styling products you used?"

Me: "Ohhh, I used L'Oreal and Gatsby products, combination of both!"

Okay, enough of syok sendiri-ness... Back to reality. Bye.
