New Specs

Hey Hey...

My optician called me today, and my new specs (along with mum's reading glasses) are ready to collect, which is one day earlier than scheduled.

For those who requested for the photos, here's line up shoots:

Noticed that the nose supports are printed with Storm labels?

First time I have a specs with 'branded' parts.

The 'interior' colour of the specs is generally white.

The metal frame of the lenses are dark purple in colour.

The side plastic frames are light brown with a white linings.

My new specs is actually more lighter than my previous one.

Generally, I think there's not much of difference between my new specs compared to my previous specs. Only that the new one is full framed on the lenses part (my previous one semi-full framed) and the colour and pattern is different. 

As advised by my optician, as I'm currently using a thinner type of lenses, I have to avoid using hot water to clean or wash my specs, as it will damage the lense coatings. I think this will be applicable to most of the people wearing specs, so just be careful and not to let ur specs have contact with hot water or hot stuffs.

Random Updates

It's beeeeeen a while peoplezzzzz!

Time flies... unknowingly, it's almost 1.5 years since I've joined PwC.

It's not much of a mile stone to shout out, but still I think I've learnt many during the period.

I've learnt that being an auditor, it's all about datelines and deliverables.

I've learnt that superb multi-tasking skill is a must have being an auditor.

I've also learnt to condition my body to endure long working hours and only required minimal sleeping time as daily routine.

Since the long-overdue-outdated Christmas post, I have been too busy to update my blog. Needless to say, I've been fully occupied with work, work and work. Many people has been pestering me, "UPdate your Blog weh!" or "Actually why you started blogging and now it's seldom being updated now?" or just "pls update". 

Yes I hear you people =P  sorry for proscrastinating. All that I can do previously is to read other people blogs and try to comment on them, if I happen to have any spare braincells to use for that lol.

And now, being in study leave for my coming ACCA exam, it's time to brush the dust of my blog site and post some random updates.

My cousin brother in UK is a father to a uber cute baby boy!! Baby Joshua was born in February 2009, and the whole family has been happily busy ever since. Joshua's elder sister, LeAnne, was really helpful in taking care of her little new born brother, and she's only 3 years old this year. She helped in changing nappies, sharing her toys, and also wanted to do paintings of her little brother during her first term in nursery. Some said that a baby smile can cast away all your worries and troubles. I have to agree to that, as whenever I drop by the Seet family blog, getting updates about the little Leanne and baby Joshua, somehow I felt that I can put behind my stress and worries... =)

I've just got my hair cut today and also went to the optometrist to check my eye sight. One of my eyes' power has reduced and so I've decided to change my specs as well, since I've been wearing the current one for almost 3 years already. The new specs will be ready in this Saturday. It's more of a change in colour and some difference in design with the current one I'm wearing. So feel free to have a laugh at me or share your thoughts and comments when you see the new one, and also check out Chee Wai's (my other colleague) new specs, coz he got his specs changed recently too lol.

End note: It's good to have a little break while preparing for exams, as I really have lotsa sleep deficits to catch up with. For those preparing for exams, all the best and study well ^^
